Baby Teeth - The Baby Teeth Album

This album from Lujo Records' Baby Teeth is one of my favorites out of my collection. The group stands out with their saturated bass guitar, 70's reminiscent keyboards and vocals, and fuzz guitars...but the group keeps it classy with their progressive rock, ballads, funk and disco influences. The lyrics draw upon drug use, love, and humor. The production quality of the album is really done well. The analog warmth of the keys and bass really are the more prominent instruments out of the whole goup. This album will fit almost any mood, happy or sad. Definitely worth anyones time to check out.

Elvis Costello - My Aim Is True

This 1977 debut album of Elvis Costello is a very diverse album. It starts of pretty rockin' and dwells into some nice ballads with some original progressions and vocal harmonies. The overall timbre of the record is pure analog warmth. Sounds classic by itself but for the picky, it could be a fun project for those mastering engineers to tweak out some low's and high's in this mix. The album cover purely defines Costello's attitude and edge to his music. His vibrant vocal style and instrumental parts are still fresh to this day. This is a great album for the newcomer to Costello.
